USC University Hospital to Require ID Badges

USC University Hospital will require all Health Sciences Campus employees,  medical staff, volunteers and students to wear their respective HSC identification badges upon entering USC University Hospital, effective November 1, 2003.

The new measure is intended to improve security, minimize risk and provide a safe and secure environment for employees, patients and visitors.  Those without badges will be asked to register as a guest.

In addition, the employee entrance door at the base of the tunnel into the lower level of the facility will be secured at all times and will only be accessible by employee I.D. access badges.  The change will consolidate all non-employee foot traffic to the main entrance on the lobby level of the facility.
