The Verdict: USC’s a Winner
USC University Hospital and USC/Norris Cancer Hospital received four awards in the Healthcare Marketing Report’s 24rd Annual Healthcare Marketing Advertising Awards ceremony. Healthcare Marketing Report is the leading publications covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development. The Healthcare Advertising Awards represent the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare awards competition.
USC/Norris Cancer Hospital received a Silver Award for its 2006 colorectal cancer radio spot. USC University Hospital received a Silver Award for its 2006 radio ad and two Merit Awards for its 3T MRI radio spot and its "Just Imagine" magazine ad, which featured the new Norris Inpatient Tower.
A record 4,300 entries were received in this year's competition, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition. A national panel of judges was engaged to review all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.
