Dedicated researchers have made tremendous strides in their knowledge of the defective gene that causes CF, its protein product and special characteristics of the CF cell. As a result of this knowledge, there are more new CF therapies under development today than ever before.
Our Center is actively involved in research, participating in CF Foundation-sponsored clinical trials as well as studies of our own.
