Welcome to the USC University Hospital Nursing Services Website!

USC University Hospital is a tertiary, quanternary teaching hospital located on the Health Science Campus of the University of Southern California.  We deliver care to a diverse population of patients in a fast paced, caring, and service oriented environment. 

University Hospital employs more than 400 registered nurses across many specialties. 

New Grads are our specialty!  As a teaching hospital we welcome new grads and support them through their important first year of practice.  We offer didactic as well as clinical practice under the mentorship of trained preceptors.  The new grad program is designed to supplement what you have learned in school and to help you transition from novice to successful professional.  Following completion of our new grad program, you may be eligible to enter one of our specialty training programs.  Click here to view a video that we have produced just for the new grad!

Each year, University Hospital trains experienced and new graduate RNs to care for patients in specialty environments including critical care, operating room, post anesthesia recovery room, orthopedics, and telemetry/step down.  Click here to see a slideshow of some of our nurses and patient care areas.
